Know Your Audience When Writing

A common misconception I have seen from people who begin writing blogs to make money online is that they often do not know their audience. They randomly throw out posts about how they make a ton of money online, with no proof to back it up as well as writing towards no one in particular. I have mentioned in past posts that a lot of people, kids and teens especially, make their first blog about "cashcrate" or "swag bucks." While this may seem like a good idea at the time, I can guarantee you that there are few people looking up cashcrate on google. Search "cashcrate" on google and these are the results on the first page.

Click on cashcratetips.us, and you will find that the person in charge of the blog has received a check for $30 last month.... Theres days when I make well over $30 on cashcrate alone...I think this goes to show you that there is no market for the term cashcrate and making money online. 

Youre not out of luck though! Take this blog for example. Teens and how to make money online. Theres my niche. I myself am a teen, and I try to write these posts in hopes that I am helping my fellow teen friends out. Other good audiences could be...stay at home moms, college students, money for video games, the list goes on. Just pick something that you yourself are and youll be well on your way to knowing who your audience is and how to approach them.

Knowing who your audience means that you can learn and adapt from what your viewers want to see/read. For example, if your audience wants more information on anchored backlinks, then you should be able to give them more articles on anchored backlinks. I personally know that the majority of people reading this are teenagers so I try to cater to your needs, how to make money online as a teen. To get started I suggest you do some research on what blogs are already out there, and what blogs arent. If you notice that theres a lack of blogs related to "moms making money online" then nows your golden chance to get your foot in the door. Do you trust the politicians to sort out your future UK General Election May 7th 2015

Well the UK General Election on May 7th, draws ever nearer, with all the parties hustling for our attention and votes.

Although I always vote, I find increasingly difficult to stay interested in modern party politics. Already weve had several weeks of bickering and backstabbing, lies and counter lies. Lots of "He said, she said" and to be honest its a complete turn off. On the whole I dont trust any of them, policy wise they all blur into one. Its a question of which is the best of a bad bunch.

 In the end, the only person responsible for your (my) future is you, not them!
Ultimately, politicians of all persuasions will more than likely make life difficult for ordinary working people.
If you want to better yourself, sometimes you have to take a chance, go out on a limb. Some people may ridicule you for it, whilst they sit back and do nothing. Theyre the ones who will never take action and actively do something to try and better their future.

On the other hand, you could like me take the bull by the horns and do something about it. If youve never made money on the internet before, then Myadvertisingpays is the place that you will.

5 Tips to Use YouTube to Drive Traffic to Your Website

Ranking in at number 3 according to the Alexa Top 500 Global Sites, YouTube receives millions of unique visitors every single day. People watch a staggering 2 billion videos each day and according to YouTube, 24 hours of video is uploaded to the video website every minute. These statistics are absolutely incredible and YouTube has limitless potential in terms of generating traffic to your website or blog.

YouTube is no longer used by kids who are solely looking to watch a funny cat video or various sports highlights. It now serves as a great resource filled with thousands of hours of informational videos. YouTube not only functions as an amazing way to generate ad revenue from people directly watching your videos, but also as a great way to generate traffic to your blog or website. Here are 5 helpful hints to use when you are looking to use YouTube to drive traffic to your blog or website.

1.) Create a High Quality Video

Also make sure you include some information on your video and be descriptive. 3.) Get Traffic to Your Video

If you spend hours in creating an informational video only to receive no traffic to it, you’ll be pretty disappointed in your efforts. Unless you already have a solid subscriber base, you will need to promote your video in order to get some traffic to it. When I first started my social media efforts I stuck to the two biggest ones, Facebook and Twitter. Now believe me, I had incredible success using those two than before I did. However, once I began using other platforms such as Tumblr, Google Plus and Pinterest I found that I was receiving more traffic than ever. Keep in mind though that you should never sway away from Facebook and Twitter as those are by far the most popular, but by using others as a supplement to those two is the idea Im trying to get at. Just be open to new programs that often come out!

4.) Stay on top of current trends
Adding on to the last tip, make sure that you consistently put in an avid effort to stay on top of the latest trends in social media. You dont want to find your marketing plan come to an end at Facebook and Twitter while another new platform is expanding at an astounding rate and you are left picking your nose. Instead, be open to new ideas and be creative with your efforts, however, ensure that you always have your blogs readers best interest in mind and arent just trying to flood your website with the wrong type of visitors.

5.) Understand your target audience
By understanding your target audience, your status updates will reach more people in a more effective method. For example, this blog is catered towards teens and college students trying to make money online. Do you think a good post would be about how to raise and care for your child? I think you know the answer. How about a post on the latest methods to monetize your blog? Perfect! Over 8 years of running commercial websites to work online for Google and other affiliate programs, I like to show you free ways of how to get traffic to your website or blog. Many webmasters think having a website with beautiful design is all they need to attract surfers. However, their concepts are only 10% right. The other 90% of getting website traffic takes hard work and diligence and time. The answer is simple. You must tell people about your website or blog. You must advertise the site to surfers so they know about it.

How To Get Traffic To Your Website

You might already know about how to design your website or blog to get fresh content, title and mega tags with keyword-rich contents. For example, for my website, my title is “How To Make Money Online”, meta tags I put “make money working for Google, earn money with Google, making money with Google AdSense, etc.”
Some people spend tons of dollars to advertise on Google AdWords or Yahoo Searches, I want to show you free tips for getting traffic without costing you a cent.

1. Submit your website or blog to search engines. Don’t submit too many times a month because you may get banned from it. Some of popular search engines you may submit to are: Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Alexa, and so on. You can search on Google to get more search engines. Working online for Google and other affiliates require your patience, diligence, and time.
2. Submit your website or blog to link directories. These web directories you can find either online or at forums like DigitalPoint forum. Make short titles before you submit. For example, I make a title for my site to submit to link directories as “How To Make Money Online”.
3. Submit your website or blog to social networking sites such as Digg, Twitter, Facebook, Mixx, etc. Don’t submit many links on one of your site to these social networking sites a day, you may get banned.
4. Write articles and submit them to article directories. You will get at least 2 or 3 links at the author’s area.
   Update your blog or website with new content/pages at least weekly. Search engines like fresh content.

These are free ways to get traffic on my websites and blogs, other webmasters may have some other ways. That is how I did every day, week, month, year to get traffic on my sites. Remember, you can’t get traffic overnight. It takes time, diligence, and hard work when you work online from home.

Time to take some small action and make money with My Advertising Pays

Decided today to take some "action" regarding the purchase of  extra Credit Packs. Of course, this isnt necessary, but it certainly helps speed up the process of getting up to 1200 Credit Packs.

Of course, this means using more money, but the end result will justify the means. The question is would you buy as many Credit Packs as you could, all at once, knowing they will all expire at the same time. Or, drip feed them into your account, say 10, 15, 30 at a time to create a rolling effect. The latter would take slightly longer, but create a more steady flow of income, and the expiry times of packs would be spread out.

I have chosen (for now) the drip feed approach, having purchased another 15 packs. Everyone will have their own approach to this, there is no right or wrong.
